A CHARITY that helps women “dress for success” for job interviews has received a colourful welcome to its new premises after making a move from Bayside Shopping Centre’s Balmoral Walk. Dress For Success Mornington Peninsula has moved to Ross Smith Avenue, Frankston and volunteers, including two young architects, spent time painting a mural on the wall of the group’s new base. AFTER being born five weeks premature, Dakota Lampard is now thriving after spending time in a“baby warmer” at Frankston Hospital’s special care nursery. Nurse unit manager Alison Conroy-Joyce said the warmer was bought last year with money raised from the annual Kids’ Fun Run with K163. Mt Eliza Rotary Club and Peninsula Health hold the annual event where children race the historic steam train K163 at Moorooduc Railway Station on 18 November. Caulfield Divisional Response Unit officers have executed two warrants in Mentone this morning. The warrants were executed on two adjoining houses about 7.30 am. Investigators located in excess of two hundred cannabis plants which were being cultivated using stolen electricity. Police also discovered a large quantity of child exploitation material in one of the houses. Both houses were unoccupied at the time and no arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing. AN Edithvale girl is baking up muffins to raise money for the needy during Homelessness Week (6-12 August). Edithvale Primary School pupil Airlie Smith is aiming to bake hundreds of muffins in a hired industrial kitchen to raise funds for Chelsea Care Works.
