Police investigating a suspicious fire in Carrum Downs have identified a man pictured in images and CCTV footage released as part of the investigation. Detectives have spoken to the man and determined he was not involved in the incident. Emergency services attended a reserve in the vicinity of Paddington Avenue and Odell Place on Wednesday 28 December about 3.15pm following reports of a fire. Police are investigating after a man exposed himself to a group of girls in Bonbeach last month. Two 12-year-old girls and two 11-year-old girls were wading into the water about 1.40pm when a male jogger passed them on 26 November. The jogger was travelling south towards Patterson River but reversed direction after passing the girls. As the man drew closer, the girls noticed he had no pants on and was exposing himself towards them. Police have charged a woman following an alleged assault on a 93-year-old woman at a Cheltenham shopping centre car park last week. The 38-year-old Mordialloc woman handed herself in to police this morning. She was interviewed and was subsequently charged with recklessly cause serious injury. TWO men allegedly found robbing a Mordialloc house at 3am told the female occupant, “Don’t worry, we’ll be going soon” when challenged, Monday 19 December.
