Ballot papers are being mailed out to voters by the Victorian Electoral Commission ahead of Frankston Council elections on 22 October. TWO Frankston North teenagers were charged with aggravated burglary and theft of a car after incidents in the Frankston North and Pines areas last week. Detective Sergeant Brett Daly, of Frankston CIU, said police will allege the pair – aged 18 and 16 – broke into houses to steal jewellery, wallets and car keys, Monday 10 October. In one instance, a resident walked into his lounge room to find them standing there. MORDIALLOC’S new shared community and school gymnasium is one step closer to reality after receiving $750,000 for the upgrade of sporting facilities. A CHELSEA woman heard banging on her front door and ran to fetch her husband before three men burst into their house, 4pm, Thursday 6 October. Police said the men had jumped over the side fence to the Ella Grove property and smashed a glass panel in a sunroom door before reaching through and turning the knob on the deadlock to gain entry.
