A WOMAN, 37, of no fixed address, was refused bail and remanded in custody after appearing at Moorabbin Magistrates’ Court last week. She is facing 90 counts of burglary, theft, obtaining property by deception, car stealing, failing to answer bail and the “substantial” theft of mail from letterboxes in Kingston, Bayside and Monash over a two-month period. The woman was arrested at a Cheltenham store earlier in the week when she allegedly used false documents to purchase items. Police have released CCTV vision following an armed robbery at a bottle shop in Carrum Downs earlier this month. Investigators believe two men, wearing bandanas over their faces and armed with tomahawks, entered the Hall Road shop about 8.55pm on Monday 9 November. One of the offenders approached a male staff member at the front counter while the other bandit threatened another staff member near the fridge area and then walked him to the front of the store.
