KINGSTON councillors are considering cutting promised grant funding for seven community groups.At a meeting last week a majority of councillors voted to receive a report in the next few months assessing options to cut funding for the next two years of its “festival, events, and creative activities” grants stream. A STOP work order has been issued to a property owner who has allegedly been conducting illegal construction work on Frankston Beach.Over the last week, observers have spotted vegetation removal and construction work taking place behind 636 Nepean Highway. THE state government has ticked off 16-storey height limits around Frankston’s CBD. The new height limits will be gazetted this month. ROSSDALE Golf Club barred Kingston Council officers from entering the site to conduct an environmental audit last week.In July 2024, Rossdale Golf Club released plans to redevelop its Aspendale golf course. The plans showed large sections of the golf course replaced with housing of up to three storeys.
