WHEN the Premier Daniel Andrews announced a return to stage three re-strictions last Tuesday, he also tackled the vexing question of what to do with the hundreds of thousands of students due back at school this week for the beginning of term three. The premier’s solution was to get VCE and specialist school children back, but to extend school holidays for those in prep to year 10. LAST Monday night the Frankston Mechanics’ Hall was crowded with friends and well-wishers who assembled to say farewell to Mr and Mrs A. G. Wilcox. The popularity of the guests was testified to by the large and representative attendance, accounted for by the fact that during a long residence in Frankston both Mr and Mrs Wilcox have proved admirable citizens in every way. AT Frankston last Monday night the initial meeting took place of the sub-committee appointed to give effect to the resolutions passed at the public meeting held at Seaford last month to secure the improvement of the Kananook Creek. The following representatives were present: Crs W. P. Mason and J. B. Howell (Shire Council): Messrs Hunter and Cotton (Seaford Progress Association) : Messrs McCullloch and Jennings (Public nominees); Messrs P. Wheeler and W.
