A DEPUTATION from Tyabb waited on Mr H. S. W. Lawson, Minister for Education on Tuesday for the purpose of requesting that the school in the old township be re-opened which had been closed recently. It was suggested that in order to reduce expense women teachers should be placed in charge of this school and the school near Tyabb railway station. Mr. Lawson promised to inquire into the matter.
