BAKERY workers alerted police after hearing a loud bang and seeing a four-wheel-drive being reversed through the front glass window of a charcoal chicken shop in Centre-Dandenong Road, Dingley, 5am, Thursday 22 February.
A laptop and a boom box were stolen from the shop. The raid also extensively damaged the front windows of an adjoining ice cream shop and a body care shop. The three premises had to be security-shuttered afterwards.
