House Fire Aspendale. Corner of Station St and Pine Court.
I was told by neighbours and onlookers that squatters have been living here but left a couple of weeks ago, they have been seen and heard coming back and trashing the house. There appeared to be a car in the shed at the rear but this could have been next doors. I was also told that the house was going to be knocked down soon and a new property built but thats not confirmed. Both the MFB and CFA worked together as this is the area that borders both fire services. I was also told that one person was unaccounted for and that they were going to have to check what was left of the house. CFA and Police cordoned off the area and donned masks could be due to Asbestos. As I was leaving quite a number of Police cars arrived including detectives. Station Street was blocked off to traffic. It would be best to call Moorabbin Police regarding this fire.
