A man has been arrested following an alleged burglary at the Frankston RSL last month.

The incident took place at the Cranbourne Road RSL about 1.30am on Friday 31 July, with the offender’s allegedly stealing memorabilia including war medals.

Police executed a search warrant at a house in Skye on 21 August and arrested a 24-year-old man.

The Skye man is expected to be charged on summons with burglary and theft.

The stolen items are yet to be recovered.

Police are still searching for a second man, who is described as being aged in his 20s.

He was wearing a beanie, gloves, a hooded jumper and track suit pants.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential crime report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
