Motorcycle Fatality Seaford. A Motorcycle was travelling along Seaford Rd and hit a car. I believe the Motorcycle was a Suzuki GSXR 600cc,750cc or maybe 1000cc and the car is a Honda. I was told there was a child seat in the car but wasn't told if any children were on board at the time of the accident. I was told that speed appeard to have contributed to the accident. Frankston Highway Patrol is appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Seaford last week.

A car and motorcyclist collided on Seaford Road near the southbound Frankston Freeway on-ramp on Wednesday 24 February just after 9.30am.

The male rider, a 39-year-old Seaford man, died at the scene.

Police are appealing for the driver of a silver or brownish Ford sedan to come forward.

It is believed the driver stopped beside the motorcycle at the Seaford Road and Hartnett Drive intersection shortly after the crash.

They would also like to speak to the drivers, of a blue 4WD and silver Holden station wagon, who assisted at the scene.

Anyone with information or anyone who witnessed the collision, in particular the drivers who stopped at the scene, is urged to contact Frankston Highway Patrol on 8770 4161 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or to make a confidential report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
