THIEVES coming up from the beach stole valuables from residents at a Patterson Lakes retirement village, overnight Monday 9 January.
The victims were asleep in their units in the Gladesville Blvd premises when laptops, purses, iPad and backpacks were stolen.
In one unit two offenders moved a handbag from a door handle and stole $600 cash from a purse.
A resident gave the alarm when she awoke at 2am to see a torch shining on the walls of her unit. She said the offenders were dressed in dark grey hoodies and dark pants.
