Police are investigating a stabbing in Frankston this morning which left a man with serious injuries.
Investigators have been told the man was walking west on Cranbourne Road when he was involved in an altercation with an unknown male about 7.15am.
The man, believed to be in his 30s, sustained stab wounds to his body during the altercation.
He was conveyed by ambulance to hospital in a serious condition.
At this stage no arrests have been made and members have set up a crime scene on Cranbourne Road between Coprosma Avenue and Lindrum Road, Frankston as they continue to investigate.
