POLICE have released images of a man who allegedly assaulted a man in Frankston and then stole his bicycle.
The victim, 42, was walking along Beach St on Tuesday 22 August when he was involved in a fight with the man, 4.20pm.
Victoria Police media spokesperson Sergeant Kim Bramwell said the victim was knocked unconscious and received “significant” head injuries. He was taken by ambulance to Frankston Hospital in a serious condition.
The offender rode off on what is believed to be the victim’s bike. The victim had no memory of the incident.
