Frankston Crime Investigation Unit detectives have released CCTV footage following the theft of a backpack from a Frankston hotel last month.
Investigators believe the unknown woman attended the smoking area of the hotel about 4.45pm on 10 October.
She waited until the owner stepped away from the bag before covering it in her hooded top and fleeing.
The bag contained the man’s wallet and other personal items.
