Charges laid regarding Peninsula Link collision

Somerville Highway Patrol police have charged a 39-year-old Frankston North man following a collision on Peninsula Link.

It’s alleged a Holden commodore struck a 30-year-old tow truck driver, who was in the emergency lane about 3.25pm on 14 November.

The driver of the commodore has been charged with negligently causing serious injury and dangerous driving causing serious injury.

He has been bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court on Friday 24 November.

The tow truck driver remains in a stable condition in hospital.
