FRANKSTON detectives are investigating a residential burglary and theft from a car in Seaford on Christmas Eve.

They would like to talk to a man wearing a hi-vis top who may have used stolen credit cards to buy goods at a nearby service station. After the thefts, he was driven away in a purple Ford Falcon.

Detectives would also like to talk to a teenager who was a passenger in the car, as well as the driver. Detective Acting Sergeant Gavin Hiku, of Frankston CIU, said the pair was “not believed to be involved in the initial burglary and theft but are considered witnesses”.

Anyone with information is urged to call Detective Hiku, 9784 5552.
