ELECTRIC Fields and The Black Sorrows are set to headline this year’s Mordialloc Food, Wine and Music Festival, which will take place this Saturday and Sunday (3-4 March) at Peter Scullin Reserve.

Close to fifty acts will take to the stage across the two-day festival, with a mix of local Victorian and international performers lined up.

Kingston mayor Cr Steve Staikos said this year’s event is expected to be the biggest yet, with thousands expected to attend.

“We’ve got a vibrant and eclectic program packed with something for absolutely everybody,” Cr Staikos said.

“Mordi Fest is our flagship event, providing visitors with fantastic musicians, up and coming bands, and the best gourmet food, regionally made wines, and boutique beer Melbourne has to offer.”

More than 45 vendors will be in attendance at the festival, offering attendees a range of different food and drink options. Amongst the vendors will be Mordialloc’s own Bang Bang, and barbecue specialists Big Pig Little Pig, and The Smoke Pit.

The event will run from 11am-10pm on Saturday 3 March and 11am-6pm on Sunday 4 March, with entry to cost $2 per person or $5 for a family.
