Police have arrested four men after executing a search warrant at two neighbouring addresses in Carrum Downs this morning (18 July).

The warrants were executed at two addresses on the corner of Shearwater Drive and Lyrebird Drive shortly before 8am.

Three Holden SS Commodores and a Ford Courier utility, all believed to be stolen, were recovered during the warrants.

A car frame, engines, number plates and other spare parts were also seized at the addresses, as well as what is allegedly VIN etching equipment.

Four men, aged 37, 42, 33 and 38, were arrested at the scene and are currently assisting police with their enquiries.

A 31-year-old woman was also detained at the scene for a short time before being released without charge.
