PLANNING Minister Richard Wynne MP has confirmed that there is no proposal in front of him to rezone Kingswood Golf Course.
Kingston Council’s decision to deny a planning permit to the developer will for now be upheld.
“Developers of the Kingswood golf course at Dingley Village have put their plans on hold following Kingston Council’s decision to abandon seeking an amendment to the planning scheme to re-zone the site,” Mr Wynne said.
“The developer has issued a statement saying they accept the decision and do not plan to resubmit their proposal. As a result, there is nothing to consider.
“It’s now up to Council and the developer to discuss the future of the site to seek some agreement.”
