A MAN has died after a botched robbery outside a restaurant in Baxter.
Two men approached a worker leaving the Indian Mahal restaurant on the evening of Saturday, 2 December.
An altercation occurred when the two men attempted to rob the restaurant worker.
The two men fled from the scene, with one falling down as he was attempting to get away. He died at the scene.
The second man fled down Frankston-Flinders road. Police are investigating.
