Frankston Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a further three teenage girls following two alleged robberies in Frankston last month.

In the first incident, a 20-year-old woman was allegedly assaulted and robbed outside a Ross Smith Avenue shopping centre about 2.45pm on 14 December.

In the second incident two, aged 16 and 17, were allegedly assaulted and robbed on Ross Smith Lane on 18 December.

Two 13-year-old Flemington girls and a 14-year-old Avondale Heights girl, were arrested on Monday.

One Flemington girl was charged with robbery in relation to both incidents.

The two other girls were both charged with robbery following the 18 December incident.

All girls were bailed to appear at a children’s court at a later date.

Detectives previously charged two 16-year-old girls from Flemington with robbery in relation to both incidents.
