Investigators from Kingston Crime Investigation Unit are appealing for public assistance to identify a burglar following a break-in at a home in Carrum on Friday 31 January.

Police believe a man has walked into the front yard of the Church Road home about 12.45pm .

The offender knocked at the front door before walking to the side of the house and breaking a window to gain entry.

The man rummaged through drawers before leaving.

Investigators have released images of a man they think may be able to assist with their enquiries.

The man is perceived to be of Pacific Islander appearance aged between 20 and 30-years-old and had tattoos on his right forearm.

He was wearing a black ‘Hex’ T-shirt, black hat, dark shorts with bright blue runners and was carrying a black Nike backpack on his.
