CRIME Investigation Unit detectives have charged two people after alleged firearms incidents on 11 February.
Police allege that a number of shots were fired in St Kilda at around 1am, and then a “number”of shots were also allegedly fired into a garage on Corrigan Street, Cheltenham at 10.30am.
A 39-year-old Cheltenham man was arrested and charged with conduct endangering life, criminal damage, prohibited person possess firearm and other firearm related offences.
A 26-year-old Cheltenham woman was charged with possess a drug of dependence, possess ammunition and handle stolen goods.
Police said a search warrant was executed and stolen vehicles were recovered. Both were remanded to appear in the Melbourne Magistrates Court.
