TENS of thousands of people flocked to Mordi Fest last weekend to soak in the music, rides, food, and wine on offer.

It is estimated that up to 23,000 people braved the heat and attended the festival, which was headlined by the band Vaudeville Smash. They headlined Saturday night before Ash Grunwald closed the show on Sunday.

Another act that took to the stage was the Tanya George Band. The lead singer lived on Beach Road and the bass player grew up in Mordialloc.
