VISITORS to Beauty Park in Frankston are soon to get some relief, with the construction of a new toilet block underway.

Park-goers will not have to hold on too much longer, with works expected to be completed in July. The new toilet block will be at the end of the Bay Trail near the playground.

Frankston mayor Michael O’Reilly said “the new loos are part of council’s Public Toilet Action Plan, which guides the implementation of safe, accessible and environmentally responsible public toilets for the community.”

“The new toilet block adds to the impressive amenities already available in Beauty Park, including public barbecues and rotunda, the playground, fitness equipment, war memorial, lake and viewing platforms,” he said.

“Works are also going full steam ahead on rejuvenating the existing walking path which is being constructed using exposed aggregate to make it more suitable for wheelchair users.”
