AN armed thief who stole an Apple AirPod from a man on 30 May is on the run from police.
An unknown offender approached a victim as he was walking, and removed one of the earphones from his ear. The offender then produced a knife and demanded the victim’s second earphone and his wallet.
The offender decamped and was last seen on foot at Kananook trail. No injuries were recorded to the victim.
The airwing assisted police with their search, and they are now appealing for witnesses.
