A MAN has been charged with the alleged murder of a man in Dandenong in March of this year.
On 7 November, police executed search warrants in Seaford, Hampton Park, Hallam, Dandenong, Endeavour Hills, Deer Park, and Narre Warren South as part of their investigation into the alleged murder. They arrested two people, and charged a 25-year-old man with one count of murder and firearms offences.
The charges date back to 3 March, when 51-year-old Mitat Rasimi was found by police in a car, unresponsive with gunshot wounds.
A 26-year-old Hallam man was also arrested, but released without charge.
The man charged with murder faced Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 7 November.
