Four men have been arrested after a series of “bikie raids”, police say.

On 5 March, police executed search warrants at an OMCG clubhouse in Cranbourne West and homes in Frankston, Berwick, Hallam, and Pakenham. Four men were arrested, while drugs, cash, and weapons were seized.

A 25-year-old man from Hallam, a 25-year-old man from Frankston, and a 20-year-old man from Adelaide were all arrested at the Hallam address. A 19-year-old man from Yarrawonga was also arrested at a Mount Eliza address. They are expected to be charged with assault, aggravated carjacking, possession of prohibited firearms, drug, and theft related matters.

Police allegedly seized a loaded sawn-off shotgun, ammunition, drugs, cash, a stolen KTM motorcycle, and a stolen Nissan 4WD from the Hallam address

“The warrants formed part of an investigation in relation to illicit firearms possession and an aggravated carjacking which occurred on 19 February in Shaxton Circle, Frankston. During that incident it’s believed a group of males assaulted two victims before stealing their vehicles,” a police spokesperson said. “The victims sustained minor injuries and did not receive medical treatment.”

All four appeared at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court, 5 March.
