A FIRE broke out at a Cheltenham unit in the early hours of 19 July.

Investigators believe that a car outside the Moonda Crescent unit caught fire and then spread to the house at around 2.35am. The blaze is being treated by police as suspicious.

The occupants of the unit, a 50-year-old woman and 12-year-old boy, were not hurt.
