A MAN has been arrested and  is expected to be charged with numerous weapon offences.

The man was arrested at a property in Ringwood in the early hours of 11 September. He will be interviewed in relation to the discovery of an allegedly stolen car in Frankston.

Police allegedly discovered a quantity of drugs, a firearm, and ammunition inside the Oxford Street house where they found the car on 28 August.

Police say that the 36-year-old is expected to be charged with 38 offences, including possess handgun, carry loaded handgun, carry loaded firearm populous place, ammunition offences, possess traffickable quantity methylamphetamines, traffick a drug of dependence, possess proceeds crime, reckless conduct, evade police, and breach CHO directions and other related offences.
