ELEVEN local sporting organisations have had their applications for the state government’s Sporting Club Grants program approved.
The successful applicants were:
- Skye Cricket Club, $1,000 for uniforms or equipment
- Carrum Cricket Club, $1000 for uniforms or equipment
- Skye United Football Club, $1,000 for uniforms or equipment
- Sk8House Speed Inc, $1,000 for uniforms or equipment
- Seaford Junior Football Club, $2,000 for skill development
- Carrum Downs Girl Guides, $779 for COVID-19 recovery
- Bonbeach Cricket Club, $1,707 for COVID-19 recovery
- Peninsula Dragonfly’s, $2,000 for COVID-19 recovery
- Seaford Girl Guides, $289 for COVID-19 recovery
- Seaford Junior Football Club, $2000 for COVID-19 recovery
- Rowellyn Rockets Basketball Club, $1,974 for COVID-19 recovery
Carrum MP Sonya Kilkenny said “our local sporting clubs are the heart and soul of our local community – they bring us together and create a healthy, happy and united community.”
