POLICE are appealing for public assistance to solve a vicious assault in Frankston North from last December.

At around 8.14pm, 14 December 2020, a victim became involved in a verbal altercation with unknown men outside Seagull’s Fish and Chips on Excelsior Drive in Frankston North. The victim was then physically assaulted.

One man punched the victim in the head, then another kicked him in the head while he was on the ground.

The offenders fled the scene, then the victim left after getting up. The victim sustained serious facial injuries.

Police believe two or three males were involved in the attack.

More than six months on from the assault, the investigation continues. Police are asking for any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward. Any information can be provided to Constable Sage at Carrum Downs Police Station on 8770 4100.
