FRUSTRATED by a lack of quality of socks on the market, Mentone mother Sarah Wilmott took the matter of feet into her own hands.
Ms Wilmott has founded Joode socks, featuring Australian designs. She is also donating a dollar from every order to Chronic UTI Australia.
Ms Wilmott, a chronic UTI sufferer, said “I want to raise money and awareness for Chronic UTI Australia so that they can further their work for research into the treatment of this chronic illness. It’s something I’ve struggled with for years, and I’d love my kids to grow up in a world where Chronic UTI was longer an issue.”
The business owner says she wanted the socks to “look good, feel beautifully comfortable, and feature a range of patterns and sizes suitable for 12-year-olds through to 112-year-olds, and everyone in between.”
“The response so far has been incredible – I’m blown away at the feedback and I love seeing the photos of people sharing their feet enjoying my Joode socks,” Ms Wilmott said.
