POLICE are continuing to investigate the assault of an 83-year-old man in Frankston North last year.
On 24 September last year, the military veteran was attacked by two men while walking along Moreton Street. He suffered a fractured vertebrae and bleeding on the brain.
The assault victim has since been released from hospital and has reported the attack to police.
