A FRANKSTON South amateur photographer is one of 12 people in the running for the top prize in the Perspectives of the Inner West photography competition.

IT infrastructure specialist Tim Matthews was selected from a pool of 1000 photo entries. He is in contention to win the $5000 top prize.

Matthews submitted a photo of his son playing in puddles (pictured above).

The 12 images chosen as the best, including Matthews’, will be displayed at an exhibition in Yarraville later this month.
