Police investigate fatal collision in Langwarrin South

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a fatal collision in Langwarrin South yesterday afternoon.

It’s believed a vehicle travelling on Gardeners Road has clipped a caravan travelling in the same direction just before 2.30pm, 1 October.

The vehicle rolled and struck a pole.

The male driver was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, the yet to be formally identified male passenger of the vehicle has died at the scene.

The occupants of the car towing the caravan were not injured.

The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined.
