A PARKDALE surfer became a national champion at this year’s Australian National Bodyboarding Titles event.

The competition was held in Port Macquarie, New South Wales. Parkdale’s Nathan Clark qualified in the over 45s division by winning both state title rounds in Sorrento and Warrnambool.

After a thrilling finish in the final, Clark came out on top. He won first place and was crowned national champion in the over 45s division for 2023.

Clark travelled to the competition with a team that also featured competitors Ryan Jucker, Lindel Jucker, Mark Britten, Chris Watson, Dane Pope, Tully Roberts, Ben Roberts, and Travis Craig.
