Police are investigating the theft of a caravan and personal property from Patterson Lakes earlier this month.

Investigators have been told an unknown male and female attended an address on Palm Beach Drive about 4.45am on 17 January.

Officers believe the pair approached the residence in a white Holden Captiva, before forcing entry to a Crusader Excalibur caravan that was parked in the driveway of the property.

Inside the caravan was a number of personal items belonging to the victims.

It is believed the unknown pair reversed the Holden into the driveway, before hooking up the caravan to the car and driving away.

Images of the caravan have been released by police.

Anyone with any information about the theft is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
