APPLICATIONS are open for Kingston Council’s 2024/2025 grants program.

Council’s grants program has been restructured into five categories this year – community small grants, community bi-annual grants, operational and partnership grants, community festivals, events and creative activities grants, and individual development grants.

The mayor Jenna Davey-Burns said that “we have an incredible community here in Kingston and we are super proud to be in a position to support the many local groups making this such a special place to live. It’s so important that grants support our community to determine and deliver what is needed at a local level.

“We heard loud and clear that we need to reduce red tape and offer a more straightforward application process and that has been a key focus of the changes. Consolidating the previous ten grant streams into five has enhanced clarity and accessibility for all applicants and we are looking forward to hearing from even more groups about the wonderful work they are doing.”

Last year $1.8 million was shared between more than 250 groups.
