A CYCLIST was seriously hurt after being hit by a car in Cheltenham last week.

The cyclist was hit while at the intersection of Centre Dandenong Road and Brownfield Street at around 5.50am on 30 April. The cyclist, a 53-year-old man from Dingley, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The driver did not stop at the scene. Police are now searching for a Nissan Navara utility with damage to the left front fog light from the crash.
