SILVIE Paladino will headline next weekend’s Carols by Kingston event at Bicentennial Park in Chelsea.

The annual Christmas Carols will be held from 5pm on Sunday, 8 December. Joining Paladino on the line-up is the Mordialloc Jazz Orchestra, the Australian Girls Choir, Roscoe James Irwin, Nick Roy, Anna Mallows, Nina Ferro, Sammi Palinkas, and MCs Bobby Fox and Rob Mills. The event will also feature craft activities, face-paint, and an appearance by Santa.

Kingston mayor Georgina Oxley said Carols by Kingston is “a great opportunity to get together with family and friends before the holidays and get into the spirit of the season.” “This time of the year is all about fun, family and togetherness and what better way to kick it off than with a visit to carols,” she said.

Carols by Kingston takes place between 5pm and 9.30pm at Bicentennial Park in Chelsea, Sunday 8 December. It is a free event, but reserve seating spaces can be booked for $20. For information visit kingston.vic.gov.au/community/events/upcoming-events/carols-by-kingston.
