THE girls’ volleyball team at Frankston High School have been crowned winners in their inaugural season.
The school established its first girls’ volleyball team earlier this year to compete against other high schools. Between 25 and 27 November, the team competed in the Division One Year 12 competition at the 2025 Volleyball Victoria Junior Open.
Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre hosted the tournament. After finishing second in their group, Frankston High School took on Volley Friends United Melbourne in the final. They won the final across two games, winning 25-19 and 25-6.
Dandenong Volleyball Club, Monash University, Upwey High School, Altona College, and Manor Lakes College rounded out the competition.
