A MAN sustained a broken nose and fractured eye socket during an alleged assault at a Keysborough car-wash last week.

On 10 January, a  49-year-old man was allegedly assaulted while waiting in a queue at a car-wash on Cheltenham Road. The victim suffered a broken nose and fractured eye socket, which required surgery.

Police allege the two people were involved in an “altercation” before the assault. The male offender left the scene in a Silver Haval H6 SUV, police say.

CCTV images (below) of a man and vehicle of interest to police have been released. Anyone with information can assist police by contacting Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or www.crimestoppers.com.au
