Police intercepted a vehicle in Frankston on Saturday evening with the 51-year-old Frankston man behind the wheel allegedly returning a breath test reading of .145 – nearly three times the legal limit.
Police also discovered he was driving while disqualified with his 13-year-old child also in the vehicle.
The man can expect a summons to court, where it is likely that his licence disqualification will be extended. His vehicle has been impounded for 30 days.
