POLICE are investigating the causes of two separate fires which broke out at a Frankston convenience store last week.
The Wells Street shop was “the target of a suspicious fire” in the early hours of 1 September, a Victoria Police statement read. At around 1.30am on 3 September, emergency services were called out to another fire at the shop.
Victoria Police alleges that a car was driven into the business during the second incident, and the offenders fled on foot. The shop was alight when emergency services arrived, police say.
Nobody was believed to be inside during the fire. Victoria Police has confirmed it is now investigating both incidents.
