A FREE community event for pets and pet owners will be held at Ballam Park next month.
The annual Great Pet-Together event, which was attended by more than 6000 people last year, returns to the Frankston space on 4 October. This year’s event is set to feature a dog walk, dress-up competitions, an eating competition, more than 50 specialty market stalls and exhibitors, and food vendors.
Frankston mayor Cr Sue Baker said the event will “offer the opportunity to spend more time out and about with your pet, learn something new, and strengthen the bonds with the local community, all in the name of supporting our loyal pets.
“Whether it’s taking a dog for a walk or the affection they show you when you get home, pets play such an important role in their owners’ lives, just as the owners do on their pets.”
