THE Rotary Club of Frankston is inviting golfers from across the region to raise money for charity, while playing to win $10,000 for a hole-in-one.
The annual Rotary Wranglers Charity Golf Day is on again for 2026, with proceeds benefitting the work of Community Support Frankston who in the last 12 months, have assisted more than 17,000 financially disadvantaged and homeless people in the community.
Golfers can register their team to play in the four-ball Ambrose event to win some great prizes while supporting a worthy cause. In addition to 18-holes of golf and the $10,000 hole-in-one prize, players will enjoy a complimentary breakfast, catered lunch, and the chance to win a range of prizes through the raffle and spinning wheel.
Long-drive champion Steffan Scutti will also be on hand to take a drive for players on the 14th hole.
This Charity Golf Day event was first held in 1950 and across its more than 70-year history, has raised in excess of $1.2m for local community charities. In the last three years alone, more than $40,000 has been donated to Community Support Frankston.
“We are thrilled to host this event again in 2026 and bring the community together to play a round and support a worthy cause” said Rotary Club of Frankston President, Grant Wishnowsky.
“Community Support Frankston are a vital part of the Frankston community. We would love to see passionate golfers from the Frankston area and beyond join us for a fabulous day of golf, fun and fellowship all while supporting this worthwhile cause,” he said.
There are only 160 places available, and at just $110 per player, they are sure to be snapped up.
