Police have arrested two men following an alleged road rage incident in Seaford overnight.

Investigators have been told a man was driving a Porsche along Nepean Highway about 11.50pm when the occupants of a blue Holden Commodore attempted to get him to pull over.

It is alleged the occupants of the Commodore drove aggressively and forced the driver of the Porsche to take evasive action and leave the highway.

Officers attended and a car matching the Commodore’s description was spotted at a service station on Nepean Highway, Chelsea.

The Commodore drove off and police attempted to intercept the car on Nepean Highway.

Officers stopped following the car and a cordon was put in place and vehicle immobilisation devices were successfully used on Station Street, Edithvale.

The car was dumped near Eulinga Avenue, Aspendale and the Air Wing was able to direct members of the Dog Squad and Critical Incident Response Team to where the alleged offenders were hiding.

A 20-year-old man from Cranbourne West and a 19-year-old man from Carrum Downs were interviewed by police and have been released pending further enquires.
