A MAN has been charged after an alleged assault at a Keysborough car wash earlier this year.
The alleged assault occurred on Cheltenham Road on 10 January. The 49-year-old victim was left with serious injuries, and required surgery to repair a broken nose and fractured eye socket.
Police allege the assault followed an altercation between the two parties.
On 11 March, police arrested a 30-year-old Springvale South man on Railway Parade in Noble Park. He was charged with recklessly cause serious injury, recklessly cause injury, intentionally cause injury, assault, unlawful assault, and possess cannabis, and was bailed to appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 24 March.
Detectives from Greater Dandenong Crime Investigation Unit seized a firearm, ammunition, drugs, and mobile phones from the Springvale South property, a Victoria Police statement read.
